Isela and I just recorded a teaching that honestly felt really important.
Halfway through it, I had this moment of realizing… wow… so many of us were literally never taught how to feel our feelings safely.
We were taught to push through. "We aint got time for that"
To stay positive.To stop crying. To “fix it.” To just keep functioning.
We're you taught it was weak to feel or express emotions in front of people? Were you taught to just swallow it down and go away until you are happy?
So many of us were! We were literally taught to avoid our SUPERPOWERS.
And then we wonder why we feel disconnected from ourselves, exhausted, anxious, emotionally numb, overwhelmed… all of it.
We talked about nervous system healing, emotions, intuition, coping mechanisms, trauma, and what happens when we keep overriding the body for years and years.
As a trauma healing coach, I know just how important it is for us to feel and heal at the body level. It literally is FEEL it to HEAL It.
There were moments in the conversation where I got emotional and passionate because I realized how many people are silently shut down from their emotional selves.
